Walt Disney World IPhone Maps

The above IPhone icons link to each of the 4 Walt Disney World theme park maps which are currently available, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.
The maps are a re-creation of the park maps using for the IPhone. The park maps have be scaled back to show only attractions and dining areas. The maps are helpful in locating a particular ride or dining spot by simply touching the name of the place in the menu. Touching the place will find and display that attraction or restaurant on the map. It makes life easier to find the letters or numbers instead of trying to locate them on a paper map.

Disney's California Adventure Park
As some people have already noticed, I finally released the California Adventure Mini Guide. I had received some requests for this so I finished it up.
I'm still working on getting the mini guide for the Magic Kingdom complete. My real job is getting in the way unfortunately, and the Magic Kingdom has a lot of rides and restaurants to write about.
I'm also trying to make the map a little better to use. I've had some requests to make the map scrollable and larger. There are several considerations here...especially since the IPhone isn't 3G. I have several ideas that I'm working on trying out.
If anyone has suggestions for other changes, let me know as well. I've seen some blog discussions which had good and bad comments on the maps, but unfortunately sometimes the negative comments don't give me enough to go on to make it better.
Thanks to everyone using the maps. It's good to see people are actually getting some use out of them.

Disneyland Park Map (California)
The Disneyland Map went live today. For some reason, there are a lot of people using the maps on their IPhone in California. :)
Hopefully, they'll get some more use out of a map a little closer to home.
I also added a few some new features - mostly minor, but I'm slowly adding details for the items on the map to turn the map into a complete guidebook for Disneyland.

Webclip Icons Added to Disney Maps
I spent some time today and created webclip icons for the Magic Kingdom map, the Epcot Map, the Animal Kingdom Map and the Hollywood Studios Map.
Adding the Walt Disney World map to your home screen is pretty straight forward if you haven't done it before.
- Browse to the desired map in Safari or the map selection screen.
- Click the plus icon at the bottom of the browser
- Select "Add to Home Screen"

New Web Site Layout
Today, after much messing around, I have launched my revamped site. The IPhone maps seem to be fairly popular. I'm not sure if people are actually using the maps or just checking them out for the novelty.
Either way, I changed the main site to focus more on the maps. The Magic Kingdom Map seems to be the most popular map by far. That seems pretty interesting to me. I had thought all of the park maps like Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios would be used about the same. However, I do realize it could just be that the link takes them into the Magic Kingdom map first. The map landing page is a little boring. :)
Once I have some more time, I'm going to create a better - more IPhone like - landing page and create some icons for each map based on the ones above so it's easy to turn a map into a web clip.
Now, if only I can save up for a trip to Walt Disney World to use the maps myself!
